My name is Tabitha and I grew up with Leah Lamp. Everyday after court her mom would come over and we lived it through her and it was absolutely horrifying!!

Prayers. My friend was murdered 16 years ago today on 9/20/2008 by 3 illegal aliens.
I've been doing some research and it might be that before Schaffer, Hall, Lamp, Gilliam and Ledford, there might have been 2 other victims in Dec. 1978, Kerry Graham and Francine Trimble, I'm trying to pinpoint where B & N were during that time but have come up empty.

Well it was just a theory anyway, actually what I've uncovered is that according to some accounts Graham and Trimble were part of the unsolved Santa Anna Hitchhiker killings but that was active only from 1969-76. While it fits the M.O., of Gerald and Charlene Gallegos, as well as the chronological timeline of their spree.
Cheryl Wyant went missing in Santa Rosa in May 1978, Sandra butler went missing June 26,1978 from the Reno fairgrounds where the Gallegos a year later took brenda Judd and Sandra Colley who weren't found until 1999. Wyant and Butler have never been found. Graham and Trimble went missing Dec 16,1978, and were found July 8,1979, buried together, just like Colley and Judd would be found in 1999, as well as Stacy Redican and Karen Twiggs. So it's a good possiblity that it was probably Gerald and Charlene.

Shirley Ledfords mother ended up working one day job and night job to keep her busy. She said If she didn’t she would have reoccurring nightmares of how her daughter died. Also the prosecutor had to go on anti depressants and had horrible nightmares.
The prosecutor having dreams where he tried to save the girl but couldn’t do it has to be one of the most brutal ptsd I’ve ever heard. It’s almost cliche because it’s so similar to how fiction uses dreams to show an event.
This case is so cruel.
Ugh, my heart sank when you said about the parents having to listen to that. I honestly don't know how I'd react in their situation and it's horrific to even consider.
Here in Mississippi Thomas Loden, kidnapped, assaulted and killed 16 year old Leesa Gray (who I knew) in 2000, he also VIDEOTAPED everything he did and was finally sent to hell on Dec 14,2022.
I think anybody who is soft on crime should be forced to listen to the tape.
The screams can be heard as people run from the courtroom
I would say the motivation is pure sadism.
There is a small scene online of a woman fleeing a court room of the bittaker trial with the door open you can hear the girl being tortured on the tape playing in the court room for about 5 to 10 seconds ,I wish I had never heard it, its always in the back of my mind if you hear it you will know why DON'T DO IT

I don't care about who these men are. You should be talking about their victims instead. They were children, not just names on a sheet of paper.
I have no doubt that these abductions are what lead to 90's children (such as myself) having "Don't talk to stranger!!!" beaten into our brains. I'm currently 36 & never travel alone. I never use a taxi/Uber service. Because how do I know this stranger won't kidnap & murder me too? Humans can't be trusted & I hate that children had to be tortured/killed in order for America to wake up to how cruel reality is.
if it makes you feel any better people in their 30s are less likely to be abducted. especially less likely to be the victims of sexual predators like this. these men would not lust over a woman of ur age. they prey on the young.

Because the victims are just anyone. But the killers are horrifying and evil, something we don’t see in our daily lives. Anyone can be a victim, but not everyone can be a sadistic killer.
Very well done video but there are some inaccuracies:
- There was only one tape that was found in the van and it was the Lynette Ledford torture tape. Her mother Dolores had to listen to it to identify her daughter's voice. The other tapes were buried by Bittaker just before he was arrested.
- Bittaker was staying at a motel called the Scott Motel which is in Burbank, not Hermosa Beach.
- Bittaker and Norris dumped Lynette's body into someone's yard to see the reaction of the public and the press. It fueled their sense of sexual sadism.
- Lynette was murdered in the Sunland Tunjunga neighborhood of Los Angeles, not Hermosa Beach.

They copycated the Judy miller hillside strangler case of Oct 31,1977, by dumping Lynette in the same was as Judy was exactly 2 years before to see the reaction of the public and police.

Am I that much of a cynical asshat that the absolutely horrible things described in this video sadly don’t shock me unlike other more innocent people? Don’t get me wrong, I feel absolutely heartbroken for the victims and their families, but as for what the two monsters and their heinous actions, that’s sadly just another example of how cruel and heartless our world truly is, hence why it doesn’t surprise me anymore when watching true crime videos these days. 😔
I keep hoping this is another anologue horror or creepy story. Disappointed to see its true crime.
